Program Description

This course is an introduction to the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) intended for those who consider a career in TESOL. Through a program of lectures, readings, discussions, and practical teaching exercises the course will explore the educational contexts in which English is taught and learned.

The Higher Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is available for Instructors who already have TESOL Diploma and wants to pursue a postgraduate education or on the process of their master’s degree. It focuses in the development of competencies in appropriate multidisciplinary teaching techniques for students’ native and non-native speakers.
